This website is a one-stop site for information and resources about U.S. veterans jobs, veterans preference, veterans benefits, and veterans assistance. It also has links to veterans jobs sites featuring info for all veterans, whether they are army, navy, or air force veterans, who are seeking second careers or jobs in the private sector, or in the public sector, including the U.S. Postal Service, and other federal agencies. Usually, these military veterans or war veterans also look for veterans administration jobs and veterans hospital jobs.

What attract veterans to postal jobs and other federal jobs is the fact they get preference in fed eral government employment. Also, under the law, they get 5-10% points added to basic examination scores, being veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States.

The regular veterans receive 5 points additional to exam scores, while the so-called disabled veterans get 10 points additional to basic test scores.
